I have 2 pygmy wethers that I use to do day hikes all the time throughout the spring and summer. There are lots of nice graded trails here in Ohio. If anyone would like to join me on a day trip or picnic please feel free to contact me. I can help you train your goats to pack. I have lots of pictures of my boys pulling a cart in a parade as well!

I am just beginning in packing. My husband and I raise and show dairy goats, are 4-H goat club advisors, and have trained several cart goats in the past. I am just beginning training a new cart/pack goat - a boer doe kid, and look forward to a long relationship with her. We are hoping to encourage more of our 4-H members to take an interest in carting and packing and are always looking for advice and suggestions from anyone.

We have a small goat milk soap business and a small herd of dairy goats. We've started setting the kids in our 4-H club up with dairy wethers for the pack goat project and it is just booming! We do local events and parades along with a lot of day hikes.
