We're in northern NY-in the Adirondacks near Lake Placid. We're active with the county 4-H goat program and would like to meet up with other goat packing folks. We mostly dayhike-miles & miles of mountain & lake trails just outside our door. We have nubians & alpine/nubian crosses.

Intentional community and community farm project with four trained packgoats, three trainees, and two disabled retiree mascots. Short hikes on the nearby Erie Canal towpath, weekend campouts all over New York State. Our packgoat club works like a co-op. We do not rent out our animals or equipment to non-members, but members are encouraged to keep them busy. Annual membership is $60 for the community farm plus $300 per year for the goat co-op, includes workshops and private instruction in goat husbandry and camping if desired. Well-started babies and fully-trained adult packers usually available for sale to knowledgeable good homes, prices from $50-$300 depending on quality and experience. Website http://www.ic.org/agrove
