Huffacker farms is a one-woman operation located in NE Colorrado.  I raise goats for packing with, and also make a wonderful goat's milk soap, in many different varieties.  If you've never tried homemade soap, you are really missing out.

We are starting up our own little pack goat ranch here in Northern Colorado. Alperose Ranch. Just getting into packing goats, raised dairy for years, then took a break and now we are getting back into goats:) We have Alpines, Sannens, and Nubians.

Three packers with beautiful Roman noses and gorgeous droopy ears - yes, they're Nubians! Hard-working, strong, fast on the trail, and around 200 pounds - you couldn't have nicer trail buddies. John M. dissed the Nubies in his book but he was wrong in mine! We've done lots of back-country packing in CO and WY and we do day hikes all over the mountain trails nearby - let us know if you're coming to our area and we'll take a hike.
